Сartoon museum

When we first visit the Cartoon Museum we will see an exhibition devoted to the history of the entertainment industry. The Moscow Entertainment Museum guide will explain the secrets behind the creation of classic and modern cartoons. After that we will watch cartoons, get a virtual master-class in cartoon-making and watch the cartoon you made as a group on a big screen! The characters in this cartoon will be named after you!

The museum has a great collection of dolls and decorations that were used by «SouzMultfilm» -Soviet Union Cartoon Group which was the main (and the only one I heard of) producer of cartoons in the Soviet Union. There is also a collection of equipment the artists and operators of the last century used when making their cartoons.

Cartoons can be an important part of a child’s upbringing as cartoons mirror morality and right and wrong, even if couched in humor. The Museum opened in 2006 and has collected over 7000 exhibits showing the development of the Soviet and world Cartoon Industry. For example, they have original works from “Bugs Bunny», «Droopy Dog», «The Pink Panther», «The School of Rock», «Sponge Bob»; Japanese «Ranma», «Gold Boy» and other anime! The Museum also has parts devoted to Nickelodeon Channel and Disney works.
