In the traditional Christmas festive legend, Father Christmas or Santa Claus’s eight reindeer pulled his sleigh through the night sky to help Santa Claus deliver presents to children everywhere on Christmas Eve.
The commonly cited names of the eight reindeer are Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen. They are based on those used in the 1823 poem «A Visit from St. Nicholas» (commonly called «The Night Before Christmas»).
In the spirit of Father Christmas in Moscow, we will visit a reindeer farm situated close to the city. We will take our own magical ride on a reindeer drawn sleigh, pulled across the snow in almost silence. After the reindeer ride, we will pet and play with the most beautiful, friendly Huskies. Do you know that Huskies can’t work as guard dogs because they love the people so much!
