6 January Russian Christmas Mass (late evening)

Dear friends,

As you live in Russia you might wonder about our religious traditions.

Also, some people feel uncomfortable going inside churches/ monasteries on big events as they are worried they might do something that is not expected…

Christmas mass is a beautiful church service and is interesting to look at even if you are not religious.

This Christmas ( Orthodox Christmas) I want to take you to a beautiful monastery, fairly central Moscow, but also it’s like travelling back in time.

I will just say that a great number of Russian historical films were shot here for the ambiance.

And under the snow this place looks just wonderful.
