North Ossetia trip
Day 1
An experienced English-speaking guide meets you in Vladikavkaz airport to introduce you into the wonderful landscapes and local culture of the Republic of North Ossetia ( a federal republic of Russia, North Caucasian Federal district)
Fiagdon (Kurtatinskoe Gorge)
Check-in and 1,5h hours rest in comfortable cottage houses
We then will visit TSMITI, the ruins of ancient Ossetian settlement in Upper Fiagdon
Lunch in the restaurant “The Valley of the Sun”
Alanea Monastery
A mountain spring with pure drinking water
Dinner at the cottage ( songs, dancing, karaoke, banya)
Day 2
Breakfast
The Path of Wonders (Natural reserve)
Dzigvinskaya -in-the-rock fortress
The tower of Kurt and Taga
Sacred places of Madi Mairam ( waterfall)
Fishing in a flow-through lake ( trout, that we will later cook for dinner 🙂 )
Swimming in the hot springs of Karmadon that are believed to have healing properties
Visiting the memorial to Sergey Bodrov ( a very famous Soviet and Russian actor and movie producer who died in this area whilst shooting a film) All the country was very sad about it, he was young and talented…
Dinner at the cottage ( traditional food and home-made wine, songs, dancing, karaoke, banya)
Day 3
Breakfast at the cottage
Dargavs, “The city of the dead”
Swimming in the hot springs in the settlement of Biragzang
Midagrab waterfalls
Picnic
Quad bikes ride
Kadargavinsky Canyon
Dinner at the cottage ( traditional food and home-made wine, songs, dancing, karaoke, banya)
Day 4 The village of Tsei
Breakfast
The sacred place (sanctuary) of Rekom, devoted to the spirits of Tsei Gorge
Sacred place of Uastirdzhi Dzuar
Glacier «Fairy Tale»
Mountain «The Monk»
Cable cars
Lunch outside
Horse trek
Afsati, the patron of birds and animals
Back at the cottage

Day 5
Breakfast at the cottage
Digorsky Gorge
«Devil’s bridge» and observation point
Settling in comfortable wooden houses

Day 6
Breakfast at the cottage
Walk along “ the Blind” Karaugomskoe Gorge, Canyon of Askhinta, gorge of the mountain river of Khares
Eco-walk of the National park of “Alania” with observation point
The waterfall of Galdarion
Lunch with beautiful views 🙂
Returning to the wooden houses to rest 🙂
Dinner with traditional Ossetian dishes
Day 7 Vladikavkaz
Breakfast at the cottages and returning to the capital of the Republic, the city of Vladikavkaz
City tour and receiving memorable souvenirs with the symbolism of this place
Lunch in a city cafe before departure
Going to the airport and flying back home
